The Wave
Gazing at the shoreline of blue water and gentle waves
I see in the distance, a cresting line rising above the others
The translucent blue force rolls forth and announces her presence
Water from the shore rushes to meet her
I hear the rhythm of the wave as it arrives
Powerful
Moving the pebbles
Guiding them with the gentleness of a Mother’s whisper
The sand absorbs her
She is life abundance

The Charter
The tropical waters cradled the vessel
as it was preparing to drop anchor
Four children rushed to the rail
and watched with curiosity
The water called to the anchor
and the anchor clung to the ship
with the chain of heartbreak and absence
As the anchor descended
a Wave reached up and kissed him
So softly
Weightless
the anchor immersed himself in the Ocean's
embrace of love, once again
The children could see the anchor
settle on the sandy sea floor
The chromium crescent smiled at them
reassuring them
that their ship would never drift
Buried on Pluto
Departure is ours for the moment for she is condemned by a jury of intolerable mistakes.

Wedged apart for what seems to be an eternity, I patiently wait for her return from the purgatory of mist in which she dwells. I have experienced this enigma before.
Because of my intelligence, I can withstand the beautifully grotesque temptations of time.
As I remember Emily’s successful sweetness, the countless forces from within my soul comfort the majestic pride which dominates me.
But in doing so, they neglect the cries and weeps of a lonely heart.

Flicker

I can hear the cries of the little ones
safe in their suspended spheres.
Life light waits for them
and their first anticipated breaths.
That never come.
Taken
Tossed
Transfixed
The expected light is different in its magnificence.
Their Father welcomes them as they look back
and wonder what journey never took place.

Paradox
Pondering with the possibilities of living in a world of total amusement can only result in the decay of our minds. To achieve the impossible is to exterminate the intensity of our emotions.
Love is trapped in a chrysalis of time and only hate can release it.
With no reptiles of Eden to haunt us, we can never obtain or appreciate salvation. We must avoid the jaws of the Dragon but yet he must never be slain.
For if he becomes extinct, we shall all perish in our own tranquility.

An Eye for an Eye
Adolescence penetrates the minds of angels and often makes their understanding of love abound with ignorance.
I am a victim of their freshly woven whips because my desires strengthen the jealousy which consumes them all.
I wish not to remembered as an emotionless pirate on the seas of disposition, but their flamboyant greed will thrive until impudence erases all confusion.
To satisfy the universe is impossible and can only result in the destruction of my own existence. Unfortunately, not all can conceive this and thus my lame heart is forced to bear the pain of blind condemnation.

Inverted Pyramids
Mistakes are often made when preference confronts necessity. To prevent the obliteration of our destiny, we must adapt our orphaned errors and teach them how to become pulsars of hope.
Since results are inevitable, then today is an heirloom to tomorrow by which infinity is nourished.
We can obtain love, as long as we do not extinguish it in futility before the pendulum of the heavens stops its harmonious motion.

The Trading Post
Aristocratic pleasures are created from the dreams of poverty and are rarely utilized constructively.
I retain myself from the inherited luxuries so that when the stars reach out and touch me, I can escape my plastic paradise on a beam of simplicity.
It is then that joy will radiate from my conscience in competition with the impregnating rays of the sun.

Reality is spit upon by all who suffer but I wish to relive it of this mockery by taking its place.

Miracles
The mental aspects of our childhood need not age as does the flesh.
Because my faith guards me from the abysmal creatures waiting to consume my innocence, I can show others that the mind can eternally belong to its owner.
One must believe that imagination can conquer all reality and can nourish dreams from it breasts of creativity.
If you claim to fall victim to the abstract obscenities that crave our souls, you have not anyone to blame but your own irrevocable self.

Modern Traditions
I try to mold an adorable atmosphere in which we can share our love, but you consistently crush my tedious attempt because I violate the blueprints of living.
Your refusal of my efforts continues to confuse the instincts of romance that govern my mind. You desire our lives to be a novel of explicit fantasies by which you can amuse yourself and your friends.
I wish to comprehend the pleasures you derive from the mandatory entertainments that ride the bandwagon of today’s creation.
Fortunately, as I ponder with this riddle, I feel my heart being imprisoned by a glacier of guiltless consequence.
